INTER-COLLEGIATE

The Khalifa Scientific and Research Club (KSRC) welcomes all medical students and post-graduates from SKZMDC and Shaikh Zayed Hospital to present their research at Research Fest'22. Poster presentations are an interactive way to discuss research with the broader research community. The audience at a conference moves through the poster displays to inquire and learn about the information presented on the poster. Therefore, when designing your poster, include the most important information from your research. Please go through the general guidelines before proceeding with submission.

General Guidelines:

A research abstract has to be submitted through this form for evaluation before poster submission.
Please note that the maximum word limit of the abstract should not exceed 350.
The deadline for abstract submission will be midnight on 10th August 2022.
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be expected to get their posters printed on a 3 x 4 ft flex.
Poster flex should be brought on the day of the research fest.
One abstract can only be submitted for one category (either poster or oral presentation).
Participants are highly encouraged to meet Prof. Dr. Ayesha Humayun on Monday or Thursday to review the abstract before submission to increase the chances of acceptance.
Participants submitting research proposal posters, should send in their proposals and not their abstracts.

Timeline:

Submit your abstracts by the 10th of August.
Get notified about the acceptance/rejection of the abstract on the 13th of August.
Bring your poster on the 17th of August to the research fest
