Submitting an abstract does not register you for the conference; all presenters must complete separate registration.

GUIDELINES:

Who Can Submit?

Undergraduate/postgraduate students & early-career researchers
Fields: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Biomedicine, Medical Education, Health Policy, Basic Sciences
Max 2 submissions per presenting author

Abstract Structure (Max 500 Words)

Organize under the following:

Title – Descriptive and precise
Background/Introduction – Context, gap, aim of the study
Objectives – What the study intends to achieve
Methods – Design, population, setting, sampling, data, analysis, ethics
Results – Key findings with statistics (p-values, CIs, etc.)
Conclusion – Summary, limitations, impact, future scope

Content Expectations

Use formal, scientific language
Maintain internal consistency across sections
Clearly define all variables and methods
Use PICOTS framework for clarity
Ethical approval/consent must be stated if involving humans
Abstract must reflect original work
Plagiarized or previously presented abstracts at ICHPER will be disqualified

Submit via: Official Online Form only
File format: .doc/.docx or PDF only
Font: Times New Roman, Size: 11–14, Line spacing: 1.5
File name: Abstract-LastName-ShortTitle
Include full names, affiliations, and email IDs of all authors
Presenter must be a student (does not need to be first author)

Presentation Format

Oral or poster presentation (assigned by scientific committee)
Confirmation emails by: 8th September 2025

Fees

Early Bird Registration: Rs. 1000
Abstract Review Fee: Rs. 1000
Poster Printing Fee (if accepted): Rs. 600

Notes

No plagiarism tolerated – Violators will be disqualified and banned
Citations must be included where applicable
Final decision rests with the Scientific Committee
Late submissions will not be entertained

Failure to follow the guidelines will affect the chances of acceptance of your work

The abstract must not exceed the character limit: 2600

Submission Fee is RS. 1000/- (non-refundable processing fee)

The abstract should begin with a brief but precise statement of the problem or issue, followed by a description of the research method and design, the major findings, and the conclusions.

In the form choose the category which you are submitting for (Oral presentation/ Poster presentation/ either of these)

The abstract should be structured and should include the Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions; other headings with similar meanings may be used (eg, Introduction in place of Background or Findings in place of Results).

Original articles or reviews: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion

Case reports: Background, Case presentation, Conclusion

Unpublished work, or published work within the last 5 years, both can be submitted
